Oscar night and some fashion sense
I know this is not a fashion blog, or any kind of blog really, but i will confess i enjoy fashion. I love dresses, vintage shops, reviewing fashion week, but i don't like putting out my opinion about it because, well i am no expert in colors, patterns or material.
But i do have some favorites from this year's Oscars Red Carpet.
1. Anne Hathaway - Wow!
2. Natalie Portman -What a beautiful woman!
3. Taraji P. Henson - To be honest, i did not know who she was until she caught my eye with that beautiful gown and gorgeous smile. Very classy.
and the most handsome were
1. Hugh Jackman
2. Robert Pattinson
3. Brad Pitt - I'll face it and accept it, he is a lovely sight to look at, but at the moment, i feel a certain resentment towards the grand actor.

my love, a little late
I know the Grammy's were two God-given Sundays' ago, but i have a burning sensation (yuck) to put this marvelous video of the love of my life up. Radiohead. My love is Thom, but i must say . . . I won't say it. Here you go.

Lykke Li is Properly Amazing
The Swedish comely young artist entertained a very diverse (myself included) audience last night at the Glass House in Pomona. She was a very lovely vision in Black, usually the best of all visions, and she wore ripped nylons. Very Fashionable Li.
Li is blooming and more beautiful than ever, and if you didn't get to see her at the Glass House, you are a loser, but don't cry me a river because you can still get to see her at Coachella were she will be entertaining us with her unique voice on Sunday. Get your tickets now!
Doing a properly well job was Wildbirds & Peacedrums whom opened for Li with pleasant music and exciting drum beating.
Li showed us a couple of new skills--she gave a tiny French session for the audience to sing along to "Window Blues," played Lil' Wayne's "A milli" and did a bit of rapping on her own, but did an amazing job at it, and indeed left her audience satisfied (I am at least, but i do want more!)
Most songs were from her new album, and i believe first as well, Youth Novels. Buy it and enjoy it.
